New Developments

Well hello everyone!
I realize that I’ve been offline for quite a bit now, maybe about a week without having posted anything. I feel like this happens a lot…(sorry).
But in my opinion so much has been happening! Since my last post of the new prologue to my book, I’ve started over (again)…
However, I have some good reasons for having started over again! I promise!
I’ve been wanting to write a novel with a friend for quite some time now, but I was having a really hard time finding someone to write it with. I’ve had (and still have) several different editors for my story. Lots of people like to read my raw drafts and give me input and even come up with new scenarios that they’d like to see, but up until now, there just wasn’t anyone who really wanted to write it with me.
But then, I was talking to another friend this past week who seemed to be really interested in it. Over a period of about 6 hours, we talked a lot about the plot, story, and characters and she had so much to say about the whole thing. In addition, she happened to have quite a writer’s mind which is always a good thing. So I proposed that we should collaborate on the book! (You may remember this friend as being the subject of some of my photography a few weeks ago.)
So right now, I’m currently writing the new first chapter again after we spent a few hours outlining, brainstorming, and coming up with a pretty specific timeline for the first two chapters! It’s pretty exciting and hopefully I’ll have updates soon! Also, I should be hearing back about the writing contest I entered a little more than a month ago to see how I did!
